Looking to simply reduce heat gain from the hot afternoon sun, this loggia provided substantially more. In addition to providing shade by angling the loggia to the specific sun angle for this site, this structure created an outdoor living space setting this condo apart from all its neighbors. Taking full advantage of the client's wonderful landscaping, J K Janiga Architects created an outdoor space to enjoy the day while creating the needed shade for the primary living spaces. As with all our projects, the goal was to exceed the client's expectations, and this was certainly no exception.
