As a joint effort among three rural fire departments this sub station was created to provide quicker response times while allowing for a centralized location. While the community desired an aesthetically appealing structure, low maintenance and reliability was also a must in developing this unmanned station. Though use of such materials as aluminum and architectural masonry we were able to create a unique facility that was both cost effective to build as well as to maintain and operate.
